Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble Presents Concert
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Feb. 1, 2010) -The SUNY Plattsburgh Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble, under the direction of Elizabeth Gorevic, will perform Monday, Feb. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
The program includes "A Prayer for Peace" composed by John Williams for the Steven
Spielberg movie "Munich" (2005), "Divertimento No. 3" by Mozart, an Argentine tango
by Astor Piazzolla, and Corelli's "Christmas Concerto Grosso."
The 17-member Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble consists of string players from both SUNY
Plattsburgh and the community.
