Seminar to Focus on Managing Health Insurance Costs for Small Businesses
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ Small business owners may find it increasingly difficult to meet
health insurance needs as costs spiral upwards. The North Country Small Business Development
Center (SBDC) at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, in cooperation
with Glens Falls National Bank and its subsidiary, Capital Financial, and Excellus
BlueCross BlueShield, will offer a seminar that presents alternative approaches to
health care coverage.
Presenters will give an overview of health insurance costs, health plan options, health savings accounts and how to structure and set up plans on Wednesday, Jan 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Mowry Conference Room, Redcay Hall , at SUNY Plattsburgh. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the seminar.
