Schaffhouser Named Runner of the Week a Second Time
FREDONIA, N.Y. - The Plattsburgh State women's cross country has another reason to celebrate this week after winning the Oneonta State Airfield Invitational last weekend. Jenny Schaffhouser, a senior on the team, has earned her second State University of New York Athletic Conference Runner of the Week honor for the 2009 season.
Schaffhouser won the meet last Friday in 16:29, 33 seconds ahead of her closest opponent, teammate Stefanie Braun. The time set a meet record, breaking the previous mark set by Charity Learn from Mansfield in 2005.
