Romantic Movement of Wordsworth and Coleridge Topic of Feinberg Library Series Talk
Feinberg Library on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus will host Dr. Ann Tracy, distinguished teaching professor and adjunct professor emerita of English, as part of its “Books that Rocked the World … And Still Do!” series Wednesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. in the library’s third-floor reading room.
Tracy will speak on William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s “Lyrical Ballads” in her talk, “Lyrical Ballads — It’s Not Just the Name of a Bookstore.” Wordsworth and Coleridge’s 1798 collaboration opened the door for what was later called the Romantic Movement.
“Books That Rocked the World … And Still Do!” features SUNY Plattsburgh faculty speaking about groundbreaking books that changed our understanding of the world. The series is free and open to the public.
