"Ringing Down the Curtain" Presented by Theatre Department Dec. 7 and 8
PLATTSBURGH, NY — The Theatre Department at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh presents "Ringing Down the Curtain" on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 7, and 8 at 7 p.m. in the Hartman Theatre, Myers Fine Arts Building.
"Ringing Down the Curtain" will feature students from Intro to Acting, Dance and the Creative Process and Movement Study classes who will perform what they have learned throughout the semester. Admission is free and open to everyone.
The first half of the program will feature elements of acting including story theatre and monologues. The second half will concentrate on dance and is titled, "Homage to New Orleans: Before and After," which is under the direction of Phillip Cole, adjunct lecturer of theatre. Cole is a native of New Orleans. Donations for the Katrina Relief Fund will be accepted at the performances.
