Protestant Campus Ministry to Sponsor 'The Heretic' Documentary April 9
The Protestant Campus Ministry will host a special showing of “The Heretic,” a documentary about one-time megachurch pastor, Rob Bell, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church, 127 Beekman St.
The film tells the story of the man who, at one time, was pastor of the fastest-growing church in America, the megachurch Mars Hill in Michigan. Once called “the next Billy Graham,” Bell’s life changed when he began challenging the existence of hell, suggesting that heaven might be “open to all.”
The film is free, although donations will be accepted. Refreshments will be served.
The official trailer can be found at www.youtube.com/watch.
