Presentations and Discussion on Events in Asia Nov. 2
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Asian Studies Committee at the State University of New York
College at Plattsburgh will host an Asia Update on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 4:45 p.m.
in the Cardinal Lounge, Angell College Center.
The Asia Update will feature presentations and discussion on important events in Asia. Presentation will include: "Aceh, Indonesia after the Tsunami: Recovering Political Identity," by Dr. Ellen Fitzpatrick, associate professor of economics and Latin American studies; "Japan in the Afghan and Iraqi Operations," by Dr. Hiroshi Itoh, professor of political science; and "Nuclear Politics in the Korean Peninsula: An Update," by Dr. Jin Kim, professor of communication.
