Poetry Anthology Launched with Public Reading
A reading to celebrate the launch of “The Heart is Improvisational,” an anthology of poetry, will be held Thursday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m.
The collection, published by Guernica Magazine, features 80 poems that explore multiple facets of the heart. Poets from Canada, the United States and Europe are featured in this collection.
Dr. Carol Lipszyc, the editor, contributor and an associate English professor at SUNY Plattsburgh, will be reading along with contributing poets Elizabeth Cohen and Michael Carrino, all of whom are current or previous faculty members of SUNY Plattsburgh’s English department.
The reading will take place at 30 City in downtown Plattsburgh and is free and open to the public.
