Plattsburgh State Hosts Annual Prism Concert
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Music Department at the State University of New York College
at Plattsburgh will present its 17th annual Prism Concert on Friday, Oct. 15 at 8
p.m. in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
This popular fall concert, which is part of Homecoming Weekend 2004 at SUNY Plattsburgh, will feature every student ensemble from Plattsburgh State's music program. These ensembles include the Symphonic Band, Claxphone Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, College Corale singer, Flute Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Cardinal Singers and Minor Adjustments. The ensembles will spread throughout the auditorium and will perform in a round-robin format.
Tickets are $5 for general admission and $2 for Plattsburgh State students and may be purchased in advance at the Angell College Center Information Desk or at the door on the night of the performance. Due to the popularity of this concert, advanced ticket sales are recommended. In addition, audience members are asked to arrive and be seated early as the doors close promptly at 8 p.m.
