Plattsburgh Alumni Association Hosts Moonlight Skiing

PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Plattsburgh Alumni Association invites you to a night of moonlight skiing at Cascade Mountain on Saturday, Jan. 22. Each winter season, Cascade Cross Country Center (Rt. 73, Lake Placid, N.Y.) celebrates the full moon with a ski party.

The ski trails are lit for an evening of skiing under the moonlight. On the trails, you will find bonfires, hot dogs, beer and hot chocolate. The lodge provides a cozy fireplace, food, drink and a live band for a full evening of enjoyment. Skiing begins at 7:30 p.m. with the trails closing at 11:30 p.m. The band in the lodge will start at 9:30 p.m. and play until 1:30 a.m.

The cost is $10 per person, which includes hot dogs, hot chocolate and beer for those with proper ID. Ski rentals are $15. For more information, contact Rose Anderson, director of alumni affairs at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, at 518-564-2090.
