North Country People's Summit on Energy and Environment
People for Positive Action will present the North Country People's Summit on Energy and Environment Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in Room 200, Yokum Lecture Hall.
Issues such as oil and gas transport, fossil fuel divestment, energy choices and innovations in renewable energy will be discussed. Speakers include members of Rising Tide Vermont, 350.org, Vermont Public Interest Research Group, and PAUSE of Albany. City of Plattsburgh Counselor Rachelle Armstrong will moderate. The event is free and open to the public.
