Musical Adaptation of P.D. Eastman's 'Go, Dog. Go!' on Stage at Hartman Theatre March 3-5
P.D. Eastman’s classic children’s book, “Go, Dog. Go!”, will be brought to life in a musical adaptation on the Hartman Theatre stage Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5.
Eastman, a protégé of Dr. Seuss — Theodore Geisel — wrote dozens of books under the Dr. Suess brand by Random House, including, “Are You My Mother,” “The Best Nest” and “Sam and the Firefly.” “Go, Dog. Go!” is probably his most famous and culminates with a giant dog party on top of a giant tree.
SUNY Plattsburgh’s Department of Theater presentation is a family-friendly show and runs Friday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5, at 2 p.m. each day. Tickets are $3 and are available online or at the Angell College Center desk. For information, call 518-564-2180.
