Music Department Presents Two Chamber Ensemble Concerts
Six ensembles from the SUNY Plattsburgh music department will perform at two chamber concerts Tuesday, April 26, and Monday, May 2, both at 7:30 p.m. in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
The April 26 program will include a varied selection of musical works performed by the Flute Ensemble, directed by Robin Cameron-Phillips; the Brass Ensemble, directed by Herm Matlock; and the Percussion Ensemble, directed by Gabe Jarrett.
The May 2 concert features the Clarinet Choir, directed by Janine Scherline, and the
Saxophone Quartet, directed by Todd Pray, each performing several pieces as well as
works featuring the combined ensembles. The evening’s program will conclude with a
performance by the Bass Ensemble, directed by Ellen Powell.
