Martin Luther King Commemoration Jan. 18
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Jan. 14, 2008) - The Martin Luther King Jr. Commission will be hosting its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Celebration Monday, Jan. 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the John the XXIII Newman Center on Broad Street.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Richard Schnell, SUNY distinguished service professor
and coordinator of the mental health counseling program. Brief remarks will also be
offered by Plattsburgh City Councilor Mike Kelly, New York State Assemblywoman Janet
Duprey and Congressman Bill Owens.
