Mark Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament adds hole-in-one prizes

Plattsburgh, N.Y. (Aug. 5, 2005) - The 5th Annual Mark Rabin Memorial Golf Tournament organizers have announced that hole-in-one prizes are being added to the tournament benefits this year. Sponsored by Northern Insuring, the hole-in-one prize for the target prize hole is $5,000. A $500 Visa gift card, a Bose Wave Music System, and a Nike Golf Sumo driver or set of irons are offered for a hole-in-one on the other three par-3 holes.

The Mark Rabin Memorial Golf Tourney is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Westport Country Club. It begins at 10:45 a.m. with a putting contest, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Following play, a dinner and awards ceremony will begin at approximately 6:15 pm.

The registration fee is $49.95 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, the three-course barbecue buffet dinner, ridiculous hats and prizes for every golfer. The tournament format is a four-person scramble.
