Lockheed Martin Executive Delivers Distinguished Visiting Alumna Presentation
The director of complex systems at Lockheed Martin will share her journey with the aerospace technology company as part SUNY Plattsburgh’s Distinguished Visiting Alumni Program.
Cheryl McIntyre, a 1983 graduate in computer science, will speak Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
At Lockheed Martin, McIntyre supports the development of affordable technical solutions for customers’ issues. Throughout her 28-year career with the organization, McIntyre has held several management roles including supervising the design, development and fielding of large complex systems.
In addition to Lockheed Martin, McIntyre has worked at the now-decommissioned Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, N.Y., and General Electric as a technology leader.
The Distinguished Visiting Alumni Program invites noteworthy alumni to campus to meet with students, faculty and staff to share stories, advice and ideas. The event is sponsored by the Plattsburgh Alumni Association and the math and computer science departments.
