Local Writer, Scholar Featured in Reader's Series March 27
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ Colin Wells, a writer and independent scholar from Westport, N.Y., will be the next guest featured in the Reader Series at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. Wells will read from his recent book, Sailing to Byzantium: How a Lost Empire Shaped the World, on Tuesday, March 27. His first reading will be held at the College Store's Book Nook at 3:30 p.m., with a second reading at 7 p.m. in the Feinberg Library. Both events are free, open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
The Feinberg Library/College Store Reader's Series is designed to celebrate area authors and to encourage the use of the library and reading in general.
