Legal Notice: Access to Rugar Woods Prohibited Between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Located in the City of Plattsburgh, Clinton County, N.Y., and bordered by the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House Complex to the north, the Saranac River to the south, private property on Adirondack Lane and the Saranac River to the east and the City of Plattsburgh Line to the west, the 50-acre parcel of land known as Rugar Woods is owned and controlled by the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
Entry into the woods between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. by pedestrians, motor vehicles, recreational vehicles or other vehicles of any kind is strictly forbidden.
Violators will be prosecuted and subject to penalties prescribed by law.
