Learn to Swim Program Set for College, Community
Registration is open for the SUNY Plattsburgh Recreation Department’s eight-week Youth Learn to Swim Program, to be held on Saturday mornings from Sept. 5 to Oct. 31.
The program offers children of the college community or general public swimming skills and safety lessons in 45-minute sessions. Lessons are tiered based on ability and include fundamental aquatic skills, stroke development, stroke improvement, and stroke refinement.
Children must be five years or older, comfortable in water and at least 47 inches tall to enroll. Enrollments are accepted on a first-come-first-enrolled basis and cost $45 per student.
