Importance and Impact of Gender in Politics Topic of Women's Studies Forum
The Gender and Women’s Studies Forum at SUNY Plattsburgh will feature “Women in Politics, Elected Office: Does it Make a Difference?” Thursday, Oct. 20 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Angell College Center Alumni Conference Room.
Ward 1 Plattsburgh Councilor Rachelle Armstrong and Ward 5 Councilor Becky Kasper, director of the SUNY Plattsburgh Center for Teaching Excellence, will discuss the issue of gender in politics today — its importance and impact at both the local and national level.
