Hong Kong Author, Alumna Xu Xi Gives Public Reading of Latest Book
SUNY Plattsburgh alumna Xu Xi will read from her latest novel, “The Man in Our Lives,” Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Alumni Conference Room, Angell College Center.
Xu Xi, also known as Sussy Komala and a member of the Class of 1974, is a best-selling English language novelist whose works include “Daughters of Hui,” “Hong Kong Rose,” and “The Unwalled City.” She was recently writer-in-residence in the Department of English at the City University of Hong Kong.
