Holocaust Memorial Centre Trip Informational Meeting Scheduled
There will be an informational meeting Thursday, April 2 at 6 p.m. in the Amnesty Room, Angell College Center, for students planning on going to the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre later this month.
Students must possess valid passports or enhanced drivers licenses and be able to legally travel to Canada and will meet at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 19 for a bus to the centre at 5151 Cote-St. Catherine, Montreal. A $10 fee includes admission and a tour of the museum, a post-tour lecture by a Holocaust survivor who also serves as a docent, and a box lunch catered by Chartwells.
The bus departs Montreal for return to Plattsburgh at 2 p.m. Pick-up location will be announced at a later date. Seats are limited to 50 students. To register for the trip, contact Dr. Richard Schaefer, [email protected].
