Heymann Picks Up First SUNYAC Weekly Honor of the Season

FREDONIA, N.Y. (Oct. 4, 2010) – After finishing as the top Division III runner in
the Gold Division Run at the 37th Annual Brooks-Paul Short Invitational, Mike Heymann
has been named Runner of the Week by the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
In a field that included a number of NCAA Division I runners, Heymann finished 19th
with a time of 24:20. Heymann and the Cardinals finished 37th overall at the meet,
topping nationally ranked University of Rochester who came in 38th.
SUNY Plattsburgh’s next race is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16 at the Rochester Yellowjackets Invitational.
