Greek Week at Plattsburgh State April 26 - May 2

PLATTSBURGH, NY __ Spring has officially arrived in Plattsburgh. The sun is shining, and the birds are singing. It's the perfect time to lounge outside and play Frisbee. Everyone seems to be getting into the spirit of spring, including the Greek community at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, which is preparing for the spring tradition of Greek Week.

Greek Week is a weeklong series of events aimed to promote unity and friendship among the Greek community and the students and faculty at Plattsburgh State.

There will be several events throughout the week for Greek members to participate in and the public to attend. Events ranging from a comedian and sports to the always popular barbecue are planned for the week.

This year's Greek Week coordinators are: Chelsea Donovan, of Waterford, N.Y. and member of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority; Amanda Orr, of Webster, N.Y. and member of Theta Alpha Lambda Sorority; and Steven Sweet of Penfield, N.Y. and member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
