Graduate, Professional School Fair Valuable to All Class Levels
The Career Development Center is hosting a graduate and professional school fair Monday, Sept. 18 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Angell College Center ballroom.
Nearly 50 schools are on tap to discuss their programs. Students of all majors and class levels are encouraged to attend, said Sally Urban, senior career counselor in the Career Development Center.
“First-year students can gather information to confirm their choice in major; sophomores can find out what experiences are valued in admissions decisions,” Urban said. “Juniors can get more detailed information as to the admissions requirements, and seniors can get financial assistance information and last-minute questions answered before submitting their application materials.”
Urban said that many of those represented “are actually coordinators of the programs and may make the acceptance decisions.
“A fair can be much more valuable than just looking at a website,” she said.
