GospelFEST 2006 Saturday, May 6
PLATTSBURGH, NY __The Gospel Choir at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh presents GospelFEST 2006 on Saturday, May 6 at 6 p.m. in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium in Hawkins Hall.
The choir will perform works by George Handel, Kurt Carr, Israel Houghton, Quincy Jones and others. With a mix of urban, traditional, classical and spirituals, the concert promises to offer something for everyone to enjoy. The 50-member choir is directed by Dr. Dexter Criss, associate professor of chemistry.
Tickets, which will be available at the door on the night of the concert, are $12 for general admission and $5 for students. For more information, contact the group's advisor, Sally Urban, at 518-564-5078.
