Gender and Women's Studies Class Presents Suffrage Research in Forum
The Gender and Women’s Studies department will present a report from student research on local women’s suffrage history Thursday, Nov. 30, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Alumni Conference Room.
Gender and Women’s Studies 300B is a research-based seminar that studies the women’s suffrage movement in Clinton County and the United States and was designed to coordinate with the events celebrating the centenary of women's suffrage in New York state. Each student has selected a “Suffrage in Clinton County” topic and produced an article to publish or exhibit.
