Frontier Saxophone Quartet Presents Spring Concert
A free concert featuring the Frontier Saxophone Quartet will be held Saturday, April 2 at 2 p.m. in the Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall at SUNY Plattsburgh.
SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Music Professor Daniel Gordon plays baritone sax; Gary Scavone, music technology associate professor at McGill University performs soprano sax; Linda Sullivan, retired band director at Plattsburgh High School, plays tenor sax; and Todd Pray, music instructor at Peru Central Schools and director of the Adirondack Youth Orchestra, performs on the alto sax.
The program includes saxophone works by Alexander Glazunov, Everett Gates, Ronald Caravan, Clarence Barber, and Richard Lane.
