Friends of Art Luncheon, Lecture
The Plattsburgh State Art Museum is hosting an art lecture and lunch Wednesday, Sept. 2, in the Burke Gallery at 12:15 p.m.
The lecture, delivered by widely recognized and accomplished artists Ann Pember and Mina Angelos, is free and open to the public.
Pember is a self-published author of three books whose paintings have won more than 60 awards. Angelos’ work was featured in several exhibitions at SUNY Plattsburgh, as well as nationally judged shows and exhibitions. Both artists focus on watercolors.
The following lunch in the adjoining gallery costs $18 to attend and has limited space. Those interested are asked to make a reservation by Wednesday, Aug. 26, by calling 518-564-2474.
