Final Two Science Talks of the Year on Tap at 30 City Hall Place
[email protected] City will host its final two public science talks of the semester featuring SUNY Plattsburgh faculty.
Sessions are held at 30 City Hall Place, are free and open to the public and run the gamut of topics. Most sessions are held on the first and third Monday of the month. All begin at 5:30 p.m. The final two sessions are:
•“Welcome to the World of Nanotechnology: It’s Benefits and Impacts on Our Society,” with Dr. Rajesh Sunasee, associate professor of chemistry, Monday, Nov. 20
•“Long-term Patterns in Lake Champlain Plankton: The Role of Invasive Species and Climate Change,” with Dr. Timothy Mihuc, professor, environmental science and director of the Lake Champlain Research Institute, Monday, Dec. 4
