Faculty Composers Concert May 6
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Music Department at the State University of New York College
at Plattsburgh presents the Faculty Composers Concert on Friday, May 6 at 8 p.m. in
the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
The Jazz Ensemble will perform "Recuerdos" and "Insomnio" by Dr. Rick Davies, associate professor and chair of the Music Department. The concert will also feature students and faculty members performing pieces by Dr. William Pfaff, assistant professor of music, including "A Prayer for Peace" and "Beyond the Pale." Dr. Drew Waters, visiting assistant professor of music, will play his pieces, "Jerk," "I'll Call You" and "PSU,PSME," which is his arrangement of samples from student compositions.
