From 1994 to 2003, he worked for the White Chiropractic Group in Escondido, Calif., before opening his own practice in 2003.

"It's quite an honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame," said De Armas. "Only a few number of athletes receive this special recognition, and I am proud to be associated with that group of people."

De Armas and his wife, Tammy, who also graduated from Plattsburgh State in 1985, have three children: Analisa (11), Torrey (10) and Julianne (7). The family resides in Marina del Rey, Calif.

"I'm looking forward to coming back to Plattsburgh," De Armas said. "It is a wonderful opportunity to see old friends and faculty. It will also be a chance for my children to see Plattsburgh State, and for me, to experience how much has changed since I was last here."
