Cybersecurity Conference Features Experts in Field of Cyber Risk, Protection

Business and industry officials, law-enforcement personnel, non-profits and educational institutions can learn how to protect their interests at the third-annual North Country Cybersecurity Conference being held Friday, Oct. 18 on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus.

More than 30 guest speakers from local, regional, state and national entities will be on hand to help businesses, law enforcement and community members learn how to lower cyber risks and raise awareness of cybersecurity and educate themselves on the implementation of measures and technical safeguards to protect user data and business intelligence.

Participants include representatives from regional, state and national companies, law enforcement, colleges and universities and non-profits and technology providers. A special “Women in Tech” forum will also be included in the day-long conference.

Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. in Au Sable Hall and is $30 per person and includes lunch. The student fee is $15. For a full slate of speakers, presentations and venues on campus, visit https://www.nccsc.org.
