'Compassion with Wisdom' Topic of Next Gender and Women's Studies Forum Series
A Plattsburgh woman born in Byllakuppe, India, after her parents fled Tibet will be the next speaker in the Gender and Women’s Studies Forum Series Thursday, March 22 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Angell College Center Alumni Conference Room.
Yangchen Dorjee will chronicle her worldwide travels and the life that eventually landed her in Plattsburgh during her talk, “Compassion with Wisdom.” Dorjee will discuss her journey in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
