Champlain Valley Voices, Choral Union to Present 'Songs from the Silver Screen'
Champlain Valley Voices and SUNY Plattsburgh’s Choral Union will present a spring concert Saturday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. in E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, Hawkins Hall.
The program, titled “Songs from the Silver Screen,” will be a multimedia event, featuring classic songs from American cinema “and a few surprises,” explained Dr. Karen Becker, artistic director.
Becker encouraged everyone to "bring mom out to celebrate Mother’s Day at this family-friendly event.”
Tickets will be sold at the door and are available in advance from chorus members and Baxter’s Bagels (22 Brinkerhoff St.) and General Trading Company (71 Smithfield Blvd.). Prices are $12 adults, $10 seniors and $5 students and children.
