Champlain Valley Voices Begins Spring Semester Rehearsals Jan. 29
The Champlain Valley Voices community chorus returns for the spring semester, with the first rehearsal Monday, Jan. 29 at 6:45 p.m. in Room 300, Myers Fine Arts Building.
Under the direction of Timothy Morningstar, adjunct lecturer of music, the chorus will prepare for its spring program, “Golden Standards,” a look into the heart and soul of American songwriting, featuring artistic concert arrangements from Broadway and non-standard pop tunes accompanied by a jazz trio.
The chorus welcomes interested campus and community members with all levels of musical ability. There are no auditions.
Rehearsals are held 6:45 to 9 p.m. Mondays throughout the semester. The cost of $55 for an individual membership covers all music for the concert. For more information, contact Morningstar at 518-564-2482 or email [email protected].
