Championship Game to Be Televised
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (March 16, 2010) -- The 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Championship will have several media platforms for fans unable to travel to the semifinals and finals site at 1980 Rink in Herb Brooks Arena.
The two semifinal games on Friday will have free video and audio stream at Fasthockey.com (users must sign-in, but the feed is free), with Todd Bloniarz calling the play-by-play.
Saturday's championship game will be televised live before a national audience on
CBS College Sports, with Matt Shepard describing the play-by-play and Dave Starman
providing color analysis. Check local listings for cable or satellite channels for
CBS College Sports. In addition, LiveStats will be provided by Gametracker (NCAA.com) or at www.sidearmstats.com/plattsburgh/mhockey/index.htm.
The first National Semifinal will be Northern Collegiate Hockey Association champion
St. Norbert (23-3-3) facing off against State University of New York Athletic Conference
champion Oswego State (26-2) at 4 p.m. in the Herb Brooks Arena, followed by the second
National Semifinal at 7:30 p.m. pitting two-time NCAA champion Plattsburgh State (19-5-4)
against Eastern College Athletic Conference East Division champion Norwich University
(24-1-4). Saturday's championship game is scheduled for 5 p.m.
