Cedar Knoll Log Homes, Inc. Receives SBA Excellence Award
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The Small Business Administration (SBA) recognized local wood products
manufacturer Cedar Knoll Log Homes, Inc. of Plattsburgh with the Small Business Excellence
Award on May 10 in Albany at its seventh Annual Business Excellence Awards Luncheon
sponsored by New York Business Development Corporation.
The SBA annually recognizes and pays tribute to local businessmen and women who contribute
greatly to the strength of our local economy, our communities and our way of life.
Ronald Marx of Cedar Knoll Log Homes was presented the award by Rich Gottschall, business advisor for the North Country Small Development Center (SBDC), which nominated Cedar Knoll for the award. The North Country SBDC is located at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.
Cedar Knoll, 1486 Military Turnpike, has been manufacturing log homes, siding, paneling, beams and other wood-related components since 1979. The company delivers its products locally as well as throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Haiti and Japan.
Marx attributes Cedar Knoll's success to his experienced staff, loyal customers and dedicated support groups. He expressed his appreciation to all who have helped and continue to help Cedar Knoll achieve its business goals.
