Cardinals' Mark Constantine Nets SUNYAC Rookie of the Week Honors
Mark Constantine of the men’s hockey team has been named State University of New York Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 30.
The freshman forward out of Haddonfield, N.J. tallied two goals in Plattsburgh’s 6-4 win at Morrisville to open the season. Constantine put the Cardinals up 2-1 in the first period before scoring the only goal of the second period, a power-play goal at 11:14 to give Plattsburgh a lead they would not relinquish the rest of the night.
The Cardinals are on the road again this weekend, travelling to Potsdam on Saturday for a conference matchup at 7 p.m.
