Buehler, of Skaneateles, N.Y., set a career high with 19 assists (19 points) to lead
all ECAC West blueliners while making all-conference for the first time in her career.
The first-time All-American had 12 points for her first two years combined. She helped
anchor a Cardinals defense that ranked first in ECAC-West and fifth in NCAA III in
scoring defense with 1.43 goals per game.
The ECAC West Goaltender of the Year, Mackrell (Cleveland, Ohio) also earned first-team
all-conference honors in her first year as a starter and becomes the first Cardinal
goalie since Bree Doyle in 2007 to be named an All-American. She posted a 17-3-2 record
(.818) with a 1.49 goals-against average and .931 save percentage. Her 447 saves ranks
second on the all-time single-season chart at Plattsburgh.
The three All-America citations ties a school record and bring the number of Cardinals
honored to 19 since the program was founded for the 2001-2002 season.
