Borrowing For Your Business - Financing Seminar June 13
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The North Country Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the
State University of New York College at Plattsburgh will offer a seminar on Tuesday,
June 13, designed to help business owners assess the health of their business, determine
the need for financing, learn successful methods of preparing for the loan process
and connect with various funding agencies.
The seminar, titled, "Borrowing for Your Business," is being co-sponsored with the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber, SCORE and the Small Business Administration (SBA) and will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point, N.Y. on Tuesday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per person and includes continental breakfast.
Experts in banking and lending have been invited to speak. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions during a panel discussion. Presenters include representatives from Adirondack Bank, Champlain National Bank, Glens Falls National Bank, HSBC Bank, KeyBank, NBT Bank, TD Banknorth, Tupper Lake National Bank and local and state development groups.

The NYS/SBDC, part of the School of Business and Economics at SUNY Plattsburgh, works one-on-one in a confidential setting with emerging, existing and expanding entrepreneurs by exploring avenues for funding, marketing and management. The staff provides these services at no cost to clients in Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Warren and northern Washington counties.
