Beginning Web Design, Using Microsoft FrontPage Workshop
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ Beginning Web Design, Using Microsoft FrontPage, a hands-on workshop introducing the basics of Web design and publishing, will be held on two Saturdays, Oct. 18 and 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Country Community College in Saranac Lake.
Jim Owens, a SBDC business advisor, will present the workshop, which is sponsored
by the North Country Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Plattsburgh State
University of New York in partnership with North Country Community College.
With the growing number of free and low-cost Web hosting services, anyone with access to the Internet can launch a Website at little or no cost. This hands-on workshop will provide everything required to make a great start on a first Website. Participants will use Microsoft's FrontPage 2000 Web development software in this workshop, but the lessons learned will enable participants to work with other Web page editors or even a simple text editor.
Tuition is $25 in advance and the course book is $25, to be paid first day of class. Register by calling 518-891-2915, ext. 689 or click on http://www.nccc.edu/cll for a registration application.
