Amy McCasland Named to Women's SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field First Team
The State University of New York Athletic Conference has named Amy McCasland to the Indoor Track and Field All-Conference team announced Wednesday.
To be a member of the all-conference team, a student-athlete must have finished in
the top two of an individual event at the Championship Meet held Feb. 26. Winners
of the event are named to the first team, while the second team is comprised of the
runner-up from each event.
McCasland earns first team honors after winning the 400 meter dash over the weekend
at the SUNYAC Championship Meet with an ECAC-qualifying time of 59.50. The junior
from Saranac, N.Y., was also a first team honoree in her freshman year.
The Cardinals will travel to the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City this
weekend for the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
