Adirondack Wind Ensemble Concert to Feature Works by Stravinsky and Mozart
The Adirondack Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Daniel Gordon, will perform “Classical and Neo-Classical,” a program of chamber music for winds for its annual winter concerts.
The Classical work is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Serenade No. 11,” K. 375 and the Neo-Classical work is Igor Stravinsky’s “Octet.” Both pieces are considered masterpieces of their respective eras.
