Macomb Hall

Macomb is an L-shaped, 3 story, co-ed building divided into 2 wings. The building has been recently renovated and sits in the center of the campus.

Macomb Hall

Finished in September 1960 and dedicated on May 4, 1961, Macomb Hall is named for General Alexander Macomb, an American army general and hero in the Battle of Plattsburgh.

Cozy up with your favorite book near the fireplaces on the first- and lower-level floors.  On the main floor, you will also find the residence hall director’s office, the hall office and a lounge with television and vending machines. Enjoy lounges, kitchenettes and laundry rooms are on all three floors.

The lower level is the home to our campus Educational Opportunity Program and Student Support Services.

A Great Location

Macomb Hall is at the center of it all on campus — close to The Campus Store, the Student Health and Counseling Center, University Police, and the Angell College Center. It’s also just a short walk to the newly renovated Memorial Hall, where you will find our state-of-the-art Fitness Center and gymnasium.
