2023–2024 Dining Services Meal Plans

Flexibility, value, variety, sustainability and access to local foods are all key components in the dining venues at SUNY Plattsburgh. We understand that dining is a social and healthful event, and we strive to help you feel right at home. We offer a variety of meal plans for on-campus and off-campus students and are confident you will find a meal plan that fits your lifestyle, budget, tastes and dietary needs. According to SUNY Plattsburgh’s housing contract, all on-campus students must select a meal plan.

To add flexibility and convenience to your meal plan selection, you may add Cardinal Cash.

Residential Meal Plan Characteristics

Cardinal Platinum	All first-year students living on campus with less than 28-credits, are required to select either the Cardinal Platinum plan or Cardinal Premium plan for their first two semesters on campus. Cardinal Platinum: Unlimited access to Clinton Dining Hall One meal swipe per hour at Kent Café 18 meal swipes in any retail location per week $225 Dining Dollars 12 guest passes
Cardinal Premium	All first-year students living on campus with less than 28-credits, are required to select either the Cardinal Platinum plan or Cardinal Premium plan for their first two semesters on campus. Cardinal Silver	Available to all second-year (28 or more credit hours) residential students and higher as well as off-campus and commuting students. Cardinal Silver: 150 meal swipes $450 Dining Dollars Est. 200 meals per semester Est. 14 meals per week
Cardinal Bronze	Available to all third-year (64 or more credit hours) residential students and higher as well as off-campus and commuting students. Cardinal Bronze: 100 meal swipes $350 Dining Dollars Est. 130 meals per semester Est. 9 meals per week
Dining Dollars carry forward from fall to spring semester.

2023–2024 Residence Hall Room Rates

The standard double rate for 2023-2024 is $5,110 per semester.
If a double is occupied by one student, we refer to this as a double-as-single. Double-as-single rooms are only available when all students can be accommodated in doubles.
Vacation housing applies to any night before or after occupancy dates defined in the official academic calendar. Students must contact Campus Housing and Community Living to determine if vacation housing is available.
