Radio Minor

Interested in radio broadcasting? Complement your own field of study with a radio minor.

What Will I Learn?

You get to explore both the on-air and pre-production aspects of radio. Classroom knowledge is supplemented with hands-on experiences available on both WARP Radio and at The Quake. These opportunities will develop your on-air expertise producing music, news, sports or talk shows.

What is Unique About Our Program?

The radio minor helps you to gain an awareness of audience needs and gives you a greater appreciation of the civic responsibilities associated with radio broadcasting. You get to explore demographic research and apply your knowledge with digital audio editing techniques that can be applied to other fields of study in the form of podcasting.
