Broomball
Broomball is a variation of ice hockey played on ice without skates and with brooms and a soccer ball used instead of sticks and a puck. Come out and have a fun time playing broomball and gliding on the ice with your friends in a fun and competitive League.
Overview
- Broomball is played at the Plattsburgh State ice arena.
- Clean shoes are required.
- The play is five verses five counting the goalkeeper.
- There are separate divisions for co-rec, men's and women's teams.
- The league begins in the spring with a 5 game schedule and playoffs.
- League champions will win intramural Championship t-shirts.
