Combine Exercise Science, Business & Hands-On Experience to Prepare for your Career
Fitness and Wellness Leadership:
Undergraduate Major & 100% Online Master’s
The fitness and wellness leadership major and the fitness and wellness leadership master’s are extensive programs that combine five areas of study to give you many career options. You will be able to work as a personal trainer, fitness professional, health/fitness manager, and business owner. You will also be prepared to enter graduate school programs in exercise science and could develop a career path to become a future educator working in a college or university setting.
Minors in Athletic Coaching & Personal Trainer
Our two minors offer students the opportunity to combine with their major either an area of study in coaching, personal trainer or outdoor studies.
- The athletic coaching minor meets New York State requirements to coach youth programs and school teams.
- The personal trainer minor provides for a course of study to prepare students to take a personal trainer certification program offered once a year on our campus.
Physical Education Elective Program
The physical education elective program offers courses that let you experience new activities that encourage a wellness lifestyle for college credit.
