Dr. Zareef Mohammed

Assistant Professor of Information Systems

Dr. Zareef Mohammed joined the School of Business and Economics in Fall 2019. He is an assistant professor of information systems in the Management, Information Systems, & Analytics Department. Dr. Mohammed previously held a visiting lecturer position at SUNY Plattsburgh and a lecturer position at the University of Miami in Miami Florida, in the Business Technology Department. He has received his Master of Science in Information Technology, specializing in information security management, as well as, his Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Mohammed’s primary research interests are in cybersecurity management and information privacy. He is also involved in merging neuroscience, in particular, electroencephalogram technology and theories to better understand cybersecurity and information privacy phenomena.
